Adeola Olabiyi, the wife of late Yoruba actor Ayobami Olabiyi, popularly known as Bobo B, has shared a shocking ordeal she experienced shortly after her husband’s death. Barely a month after she buried her husband, a man regarded as one of his close friends approached her with what she described as a deeply offensive and heartbreaking request

Speaking on Kunle Afod’s YouTube program Ni Iranti, Mrs. Olabiyi revealed that the man visited her home under the guise of offering comfort. However, during the visit, he suddenly made it clear that he wanted to start a relationship with her. He told her plainly that he wished to sleep with her and would later marry her. To justify himself, he made a crude statement, asking, “If I don’t marry my friend’s wife, should I marry my enemy’s wife?”

Mrs. Olabiyi said she was stunned by his words and found the proposition to be not only disrespectful but also a betrayal of the trust and friendship he once shared with her husband. She explained that the man insisted it was now his “turn” to take responsibility for her since her husband had passed away. He even demanded that she give him her phone number so he could “take over.

Despite his persistence, Mrs. Olabiyi firmly rejected him, making it clear that she would never consider such an arrangement. She described the encounter as one of the most painful moments in her mourning period, emphasizing how devastated she felt that someone her husband had called a friend could attempt to take advantage of her grief in such a manner.
